Faith Café
Faith Café is a place for students and young adults to hang out after the evening service. It runs during the university Autumn and Spring terms.
Typically an evening will begin shortly after the evening service concludes (around 7pm) and end around 8:30pm. It offers the chance to chat over a cup of tea or coffee and some snacks. During the course of the evening there will usually be two or more of the following items:
- a short musical item (performed live)
- Faith Journey: an interview with someone about how they came to faith, or their continuing experience of walking with God
- Faith in Action: an interview with someone about exciting work that they have been doing for God
- an informal discussion (often introduced by a short talk) on a selected theme
Once a month we change the pattern and meet in the hall for a more substantial meal of soup and bread, followed by about an hour of spiritual ministry to each other and to the Lord in prayer and Celtic style alternative worship.
