Faith Café
Faith Café is a place for students and other young adults to hang out after the evening service. It runs during the university Autumn and Spring terms.
Typically an evening will begin shortly after the evening service concludes (around 7:15pm) and end around 8:30pm. It offers the chance to chat over a (free) bowl of soup, a cup of tea or coffee and some snacks. During the course of the evening there will usually be one or more of the following items:
- a short musical item (performed live)
- Faith Journey: an interview with someone about how they came to faith, or their continuing experience of walking with God
- Faith in Action: an interview with someone about exciting work that they have been doing for God
Once a term we change the pattern and meet in the hall for a quick meal of soup and bread before returning to the chapel for about an hour of spiritual ministry to each other and to the Lord in prayer and Celtic-style alternative worship.
