Canolfan Penrallt Centre
A community centre for Upper Bangor
When Penrallt bought the old Twrgwyn Chapel on Holyhead Road, it was decided that the rear part of the building should be made available for use by the community. So Canolfan Penrallt Centre was born!
The main aim of the Centre is to promote, encourage and develop a sense of community in Upper Bangor and the surrounding area by providing facilities for community groups and others to hold meetings and activities that promote community life. The building has been completely refurbished, and can now offer the following facilities:
- large hall
- modern kitchen
- small meeting rooms
- crèche and play area with separate toilet for children's use
- flipchart, whiteboard, overhead projector, data projector
The Centre is used by a number of community groups on a regular basis. It is also available to book for one-off events. More information about booking can be found in our PDF information sheet, which you can download from here in English (46kB) or Welsh (63kB).
